DHS 110.08 Practice level upgrades; downgrades.
(1) UPGRADING EMT PRACTICE LEVELS. To upgrade an EMT practice level, the EMT shall complete the application requirements under s. DHS 110.06 for the desired EMT practice level.
(2) DOWNGRADING EMT PRACTICE LEVELS. To downgrade an EMT practice level, the EMT shall complete the application requirements under s. DHS 110.06 for the practice level to which the EMT wishes to downgrade. When the downgrade occurs at renewal, the individual shall submit proof of refresher training at the downgraded level or the previous license level.
(3) UPGRADING TO THE EMT PRACTICE LEVEL. To upgrade from first responder certification to EMT-basic licensure, the first responder shall complete the application requirements under s. DHS 110.06 for the EMT-basic license level.
